  You Move Me

This was a life size animatronic sculpture of a female figure. Members of the public could activate her arms, legs, torso and head by moving multifunctional levers. These levers connected into the back of the body with bicycle brake cables.

The figure moved in an awkward fashion if the operators were not co-ordinated or focused. However some groups of people really co-operated with each other to produce uncanny lifelike movement. The amazing thing was that the people working the levers hardly spoke to each other, it was a special kind if communication made only through the mechanical body.
